SGT Philip James Iyotte was born on December 22, 1929 in Mellette County to Joseph Iyotte, Jr. and Florence Menard. SGT Philip James Iyotte passed away in a Prisoner Of War Camp in Korea on September 10, 1951 SGT Philip Iyotte is survived by his sister, Eva Iyotte of White River, SD and numerous nieces and nephews. SGT Philip Iyotte was preceded in death by his father, Joseph Iyotte, Jr.; mothers, Florence Menard and Rose High Pine; brothers, Vincent Iyotte, Sylvester Iyotte, Franklin Iyotte, Lawrence Iyotte, Loren Iyotte, Lavern Leroy Iyotte, Jesse Iyotte, Eddie Iyotte, and Harold Menard; and sisters, Ramona Iyotte, Julia Rose Iyotte-Black Elk, Simone Iyotte, and Roberta Iyotte.
