Sherry Wounded Foot was born on July 13, 1966 in Rapid City, SD to Jonas, Sr. and Florence (Tuttle) Wounded Foot. Sherry made her journey to the Spirit World on August 17, 2016 at the Pine Ridge I.H.S. Hospital in Pine Ridge, SD. Sherry is survived by her son, Logan Lafferty of Mission, SD; godson, Martin Marvin Wounded Foot of Porcupine, SD; daughters, Sandra Marie Graham of Porcupine, SD and Dawn Rose Dowty of Rapid City, SD; brothers, Jonas Wounded Foot, Jr. of Porcupine, SD and Martin Wounded Foot of Sioux Falls, SD; and grandchildren, Jynea Cherie, Jered Jace, and Jay Sean St. John, Mario Graham, Jr., Lizzie Rae Poorman, MyLeigh Joy Lafferty, Samuel Tristan Lafferty, Layla Jewel Lucy Poorman, Taytum Roan Lafferty, Evolette Adellmarie “Letty” Spotted Tail; Jonathan Bagola, Jr., Jacoy Bagola, and Bentley Ray Dowty. Sherry was preceded in death by her baby boy, Benjamin Hernandez, Jr., her beloved mother, Florence Tuttle; father, Jonas Wounded Foot, Sr.; sister, Sandra Wounded Foot; brothers, Sanford Alan Wounded Foot, Joe Wounded Foot, Patrick Tuttle, and Art Tuttle. Wake Services: Two night wake service starting at 1:00 PM, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 at the Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD Rosary Service at 7:00 PM, Thursday, August 25, 2016 at the Fr. Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD Funeral Services: 11:00 AM, Friday, August 26, 2016 at the Father Pauly Hall in Porcupine, SD Officiating: Father Chris Johnson, S.J.
