Roy Matthew Sanders, 54, passed away Sunday, June 7, 2020. Born, February 10, 1966, Roy loved working outdoors and spending time with family and friends. Those who knew him were touched by his love, kindness and generosity. He will be greatly missed. Roy was preceded in death by his parents; Alvan and Mae Sanders. He is survived by a sister, Connie Edwards and husband Thurman; brothers Billy Sanders and wife Melissa, Ray Sanders and Donald Sanders; and several nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends from 12:00 – 2:00 p.m. Friday June 12, 2020, at East Tennessee Funeral Home, Blountville TN. A funeral service will be held at 2:00 p.m. with Brother Larry Stapleton and Brother Jerry Edwards officiating with a graveside service to follow. Pallbearers are Wesley Camper, Thurman Camper, Gary Necessary, Bronson Necessary, Larry Necessary, Johnny Necessary, Mark Necessary and Christopher Ramey.
