Thelma Buckles

Thelma W. Buckles, 92, passed away November 20, 2020 in Chattanooga. Thelma was a faithful member of Greater Faith Temple Baptist Church for over 70 years. She was a homemaker. She was predeceased by her parents, Elijah and Marion Willingham; husband, Isaac Buckles; sisters Elizabeth Akridge, Alice Sanford, Daisy Mae Smith; brothers, Clarence Willingham and Hershel Willingham. She is survived by special nieces, Helen Jackson, TX, Marion (Reginald)Ratliff, Chattanooga, Dianne Sanford, Chattanooga, Jackie Sanford, Ringgold, GA, and Tabitha Gordon, Nashville; nephews, Christopher Sanford and Isaac (Crystal) Sanford, Chattanooga; a host of great nieces and nephews; life partner, Claude Lee Logan; special sisters in Christ, Barbara J Pierce, OH, Terry Keith, Chattanooga A public viewing will be held 9 AM until 12 NOON, Wednesday, December 2, 2020 at the funeral home. A private family funeral service will be held. Interment: Chattanooga National Cemetery.
