Donald Roby

Donald Eldridge Roby, age 68 of Clarksville, passed away on Saturday, March 18, 2017 at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. A memorial service will be held at 4 p.m. on Friday, March 24, 2017 at Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church with Dr. Steve Louder officiating. Visitation will be from 4-7 p.m. Thursday at McReynolds-Nave & Larson Funeral Home and from 2 p.m. until the hour of service on Friday at the church. Donald was born on January 30, 1949 to the late Eugene Debbs and Frances Orlean Roby. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by sister-in-law, Rosemary Roby. He was a member of Clarksville Cumberland Presbyterian Church and was a teacher at Clarksville High School and Weems Academy. He is survived by brothers, Ray Roby and Fred (Kathie) Roby; nieces, Tammy Roby (Troy) Jones, Mary Roby (Shane) Williams, and Elizabeth Roby (Robert) Stillwell; nephew, Tim Roby; great nieces, Torrie Jones, Sarah Williams, and Clara Jane Stillwell; great nephews, Colby Jones, Coltyn Jones, William Roby Stillwell, and Josiah Williams. The family would like to say thank you to all first responders, Clarksville Fire Department, and Vanderbilt Medical Center.
