Ernest Victor "Jack" Harrison, Sr., 71 of Cookeville, Tennessee passed from this life Wednesday, September 27, 2017, at his home. Mr. Harrison was born Thursday, October 18, 1945 in Williamston, North Carolina, he was the son of the late John and Betty (Leggett) Harrison. He was a U.S. Navy Veteran, He grew up at the Oxford Orphanage in North Carolina where he met Hilda Evans whom he later married. He is survived by his wife of 48 years: Hilda Evans Harrison of Cookeville, TN 1 Daughter and Son-in-law; Jennifer and Carl Haney of Baxter, TN 2 Sons and 1 Daughter-in-law: Victor and Nikki Harrison of Algood, TN Jeff Harrison of Murfreesboro, TN 5 Grandchildren: Christian Harrison, Ty Harrison, Jack Harrison, Owen Haney, and Rilee Haney In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by 3 Brothers. The family has chosen cremation and no services are planned at this time.
