Joseph "Joe" Sorcio, 50, of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Wednesday, April 12, 2017 at Cookeville Regional Medical Center. Joe was born in Bellrose, New York on Monday, August 22, 1966 to Ann Sorcio-Helbling and the late Joseph John Sorcio. Joe is survived by: Mom: Ann Sorcio- Helbling of Palm Coast, Florida Wife: Madeline Towne of Sparta, Tennessee Daughter: Leilu Ann Sorcio of Sparta, Tennessee 3 Sisters: Karen and Edward Schmieder of Naples, Florida Maria and Michael Maroni of Northport, New York Angela and Rob O'Neil of Smithtown, New York Brother: Roger and Amelia Sorcio of Brooklyn, New York A host of nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Leilu's Horse: Oreo Sorcio Dog: T.C. "Too Cool" Joe was preceded in death by his Dad: Joseph John Sorcio. Joe chose cremation and the family followed his wishes and a celebration of life will be held Friday, April 21, 2017 at 6:00 pm with a visitation with the family from 4:00 pm until 6:00 pm.
