ROMINE, Billy Ronald It is with a heavy heart we bring the news of our father's passing on Wednesday, October 9, 2019. He battled both lung disease and emphysema for years. Bill was a patriot and served his country in the United States Air Force. While stationed in Japan he met his true love, Isla, whom he later married. He was a dedicated employee at Bell South, which later became AT&T, for 40 years. At age 19, he started with the company installing phone lines and upon retirement, he was the Director of Security. While working to support his family, Bill earned a Bachelor of Business Administration Degree with a Major in Accounting from Memphis State University. Bill was a loving and caring son, brother, husband and father. Proceeded in death by his parents W.O. and Jewell, wife Isla and brother John (Lilly) Romine. He leaves behind his son, Jason (Kris) Romine; daughter, Jamie (Chuck) Aschbacher; brother George (Wanda) Romine; sister Cindy Romine; sister-in-law Jo Ann Jensen-Shumate; grandchildren, Aida, Evan and Dylan. We were blessed to have such a wonderful man in our lives. We miss him tremendously but our many memories will live on.
