Ernest William Thomas Robertson, age 74 of Spring Hill, TN passed away June 4, 2018 at the VA Hospital in Nashville, TN. He was a faithful servant to the Lord, his country, family and friends. A Veteran of the U.S. Army where he received the National Defense Service Medal, Republic of Vietnam Campaign Medal, Bronze Star Medal, Vietnam Service Medal with 4 Bronze Service Stars, Army Commendation Medal with two Oak Leaf Clusters and he was an Expert Rifleman. Ernest and his wife Ann moved from Davison, MI to Spring Hill in 1995. He retired from General Motors after 30 years of service. After retirement he began working for Holmes Catering where he was employed for over ten years. He was also an active member of Veterans Restoration Ministry and served on the board of directors for Life Care Family Services for 20 years. Preceded in death by parents, Stanley & Alice Robertson; brothers, Lee Robertson & Bobby Robertson. Survived by loving wife of 48 years, Ann Stoker Robertson of Spring Hill, TN; son, Brent (Dina) Robertson of Culleoka, TN; daughter, Raye Ann (Kenny) Mauck of Arrington, TN; sister, Janell (Gary) Owens of Byron, MI; grandchildren, Landon Mauck of Nashville, TN, Megan (Michael) Hinson of Murfreesboro, TN; Kelsey Mauck of Arrington, TN; great-grandchildren, Cooper, Easton & Gracelyn Hope Hinson; sister in-laws, Janet Robertson of Clio, MI & Barbara Roberston of Flushing, MI and several loving nieces & nephews. Funeral service will be held 1:00PM Saturday, June 9, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, Lindell Cooley officiating. A memorial service will be held soon in Flint, MI, details to be arranged. Honorary pallbearers will be Michael Holmes, David Litteral, Jimmie Carter and Lee Hotchkiss.
