Harlie "H.B" Walker

Harlie B. “H.B.” Walker, of Franklin, TN, went home to be with the Lord on Wednesday, June 6, 2018, at the age of 90. H.B. was born in Paragould, AR on February 9, 1928, son of the late Ora & Iva Walker. Harlie was a faithful Deacon of Brentwood Baptist Church, member since 1969. Harlie was president and owner of Volunteer Trailer Corp and retired in 1993. He was a honorary Mason for 62 years, past member of the Rotary Club, a member of the Williamson County Shriners Club and he volunteered at the Forrest Crossing Golf course for 10 years. Harlie Bill was the first president of the Arrington Volunteer Fire Department and spent his last years here on earth playing golf, working in the garden, and spending time with his grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his brothers: Bert Walker, and Wesley Walker; 2 sisters, Dorothy Clasquin & Katherine Wilhelm. Daughter, Constance J. Eastham. Survivors include his loving wife of 69 years, Martha Jean Walker; son, John Fletcher Walker of Old Hickory, TN; daughter, Elizabeth Jane Harris of Lawrenceburg, TN, 8 grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren. The family will receive visitors from 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM on Sunday, June 10, 2018 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home, where a Memorial service will be held at 12:00 PM. Burial will take place at a later date. Memorials may take the form of donations to The Shrine Hospital for Children in loving memory of H.B. Walker.
