Richard “Dick” Owens, age 80 of Thompsons Station, TN. passed away March 9, 2019. Veteran of the US Army and then went on to work for CPS Industries in a leadership role for 30 years. Dick is preceded in death by his parents, J. Tom Owens and Bulah P. Pratt step father, Robert G. Pratt, Sr. and brother, Thomas Owens. Survived by his loving wife of 42 years, Nellie Hargrove Owens; children, Susan (Jamie) Ladd, John King, Bruce (Regina) King, Steve (Tabatha) King, Regena (Chris) Glovich, Richard Owens, Jr. and Kimberly (Aaron) Cox; grandchildren, Sean Ladd, Ian Ladd, Kasey King, Dylan King, Courtney Pratt, Kristen Gardner, Shelby King, Tucker King, Lillian Glovich, Brittany Owens, Ethan Adkins, Katelynn Fondaw, Alyssa Adkins, Madison Owens, Isaac Berard, Ayden Cox, Sheldon Cox, Desyrai Cox, Katelynn Poindexter; great grandchild, Carter Poindexter; brother, Robert G. (Kathy) Pratt, Jr; sister, Mary E. (Charles) Clark and several cousins and other loving family members. Visitation will be Monday 4-8:00PM and one hour prior to the funeral services at 2:00PM Tuesday, March 12, 2019 at Williamson Memorial Funeral Home.
