Andrew Tyler

Mr. Andrew “Andy” Tyler, Jr. was born February 24, 1946 to Andrew and Elizabeth McCoy-Tyler. He departed this earthly life on August 7, 2015. His parents, along with two brothers, Clinton Tyler and Eddie Tyler and a sister, Catherine Walker preceded him in death. Andrew accepted Christ at an early age and joined St. Mark Missionary Baptist Church. He retired from General Motors and he love working with his hands. He fathered and reared seven children during his sixty-nine years of laboring on earth. God blessed him with Jeanie Tyler, Sheryl Tyler, Tara Tyler, Quantella Brown (Quan), Queentella Tyler, Roger Lattimore, Sr. (Regina) and Pamela Roberson (Steven). He leaves to cherish his memory a loving wife, Adell Tyler; his children; a brother, E. James Tyler (Katie); three sisters: Linda Bell (Jimmie), Mary Bell (Lincoln) and Darlene Nelson (Stanley); an uncle, Dempsy Tyler; four aunts: Ella Logan, Jimmie-Lee Moorehead, Mildred Owens and Deloris Butler; seven sisters-in-law, three brothers-in-law, fifteen grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren; a host of nephews, nieces and cousins.
