Brenda Jones White Obituary

Brenda Faye Jones White was born October 6, 1960 in Jackson, Tennessee to the late Mr. and Mrs. Jessie James Jones and Dorthulia McKinnie Jones. Her brother, James Jones, Jr. also preceded her in death. Brenda attended the Crockett County School System.  She was a faithful member of new Macedonia Baptist Church in Jackson, Tennessee. She united with Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church at an early age where she professed a hope in Christ. She was a member of the choir and later became the choir president. On April 19, 2006, she accepted a calling into ministry and she was eager to serve in any capacity. She could always be found preaching the word. She was the forerunner of several prayer meetings.  She stood in the gap for so many, she always had an encouraging word and scripture to back a message given from the Lord. Brenda could often be heard singing and preaching the word of God. She was a devoted Christian who found great joy and strength attending church services, studying the bible, listening to gospel music, singing and preaching the gospel. Most importantly she loved sharing God’s word to family and friends. Mrs. White was called to be with her Heavenly Father on Thursday, May 15, 2014. Brenda was a shining example of courage, strength and spirituality, she kept fighting in spite of her health issues.. She always told her children, Lakeidah, Cristal and Olajuwon to stay encouraged.
