Marilyn Sain Womack

Marilyn Yvonne Sain Womack was born August 22, 1953 to Jesse Carl and Mildred Bingham Sain. She departed this life after a hard battle with cancer on August 7, 2014. She attended the Jackson-Madison County Public Schools and was a graduate of the first class of Jackson-Central Merry High School in 1971. She accepted Jesus Christ as her personal Saviour at an early age and joined Berean Baptist Church and later became a member of Mt. Moriah Baptist Church. When she passed, she was member of St. Paul Missionary Baptist Church where she served as a faithful usher until her health failed. In October of 1972, she united in holy matrimony with Otis Womack. To this union, two sons were born, Corie Womack, Sr. and Jason Womack, Sr. She is preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, Jesse Sain and Florence Meedy, her maternal grandparents, Willie Mack and Ivery Bingham, her father, Jesse Carl Sain and her son, Jason Womack. She leaves to cherish her memory her loving mother, Mildred Sain, her son, Corie (Melanie) Womack; two brothers: Jesse Carl (Jay) Sain and Bruce Edward Sain; a daughter-in-law, LaTasha Dodd; five grandchildren: Corie Womack, Jr., Cierra Womack, Jason Womack, Jr., Christian Womack and Mia Womack; a nephew, Demetrius Sain; a niece, Ivory Sain; an uncle, Charles (Jeanette) Bingham; special friends: Robbie Smith, Dorothy Smith, Mildred May, Yvonne Thomson, Judy Huckstep, Vivian Love, Virginia Bond, Bobbie Ann Dickerson and Otis Womack; a host of cousins and other relatives and friends.
