Bill McPeek ,82 of Loudon passed away Friday morning April 7, 2017 surrounded by his loving family. Bill was an example of steadiness and love in every aspect of his life. As a husband, he was the picture of devotion to his beloved wife Joy through each of life's turns. As a father, he was the support and security his daughters could always look toward. As a grandfather, he wrapped his little ones up with endless hugs and smiles. As a farmer, he took immense pride and joy in the beautiful land he tended. He was wise yet humble, strong yet loving. His life's impact will be forever felt by all those he loved. Preceded in death by parents, Albert and Carrie Schrimsher McPeek, and precious wife, Joy McPeek. Survivors include his children, Kim & Robert West, Rhonda and Ronnie Tallent, Leslie and Michael Bivens; grandchildren, Lauren & Katelyn West, Kyle Tallent, Kasey and Dustin Lyles, J.D., Lucas, and Blair Bivens; great-grandchild, Harper Kate; brother and sister-in-law Carl and Edith McPeek, Sister-in-law, Beverly and Roy Prince. special nieces and nephews Lindsey Prince, Hope Deloach, Danny and Terrie McPeek, Steve and Darlene McPeek; special friends, June Watson, English Derrick, Jacob Cardwell, and Cody Magley. Bill was a member of Blairland Baptist Church. Funeral services will be 4 P.M. Sunday at Loudon Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Jon Henson officiating. The family will receive friends 2 to 4 P.M. prior to the service. Family and friends will meet at 10:15 A.M. Monday and proceed to Lakeview Cemetery for 11 A.M. graveside service. In-lieu of flowers family request donations be made to Blairland Baptist Church 730 Steekee Street Loudon, Tn 37774. Loudon Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements. www.loudonfuneralhome.net
