Betty Ruth Davis – age 69 of Washburn, went home to be with the Lord, March 8, 2021 surrounded by her family. She was a member of Dutch Valley Baptist Church. She is preceded in death by her husband of 43 years, Herbert “Herbie” Davis; parents, Everett and Mossie Harrell; sisters, Sue Harrell England, Jennie Harrell Suffridge, Diane Harrell Williams and Kay Harrell Nicley. Betty is survived by her son, Jeffery (Brenda) Davis; grandchildren, Luke Davis and fiancé Kyleigh Lybrook, Stella Rose, Macey (Jesse) Lewis; great grandchildren, Sophia, Eliza, Brendan, Sloane and Jacey; brothers and sisters-in-law, Junior and the late Bobbie Harrell, Randy (Sue) Harrell, Wayne (Nancy) Harrell, sisters and brothers-in-law, Brenda (Marshal) Nicley, Jill (Leroy) Nicley; several nieces and nephews; and special friend, Sue Atkins. The family wishes to express a special thank you to Smokey Mountain Hospice and Nurse Whitney. Visitation will be 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m., Tuesday, March 9, 2021 at Dutch Valley Baptist Church in Washburn with the service to follow with Reverend Jimmy Frye officiating. Friends and family will meet at Dutch Valley Baptist Church Wednesday, March 10, 2020 at 10:00 a.m., to go in procession to Thomas Cemetery for a 11:00 a.m. graveside service.
