Edith Emma Williams, Age 88, of Luttrell born December 5, 1928 to Bessie and Andy Williams, entered heaven Friday, September 15, 2017. She was welcomed by Jesus, her sisters, Amanda Shoffner, Cleo Williams, Lillie Bell Dyer and Mary Lou Mallicoat; brothers, Homer Dyer, Earnest Dyer and Jesse Williams; two nephews and two nieces. What a glorious homecoming! Emma was saved at an early age at Warwick Chapel Baptist church and was a member of Luttrell Missionary Baptist Church. She was a retired employee of Standard Knitting after 45 years of service. Emma is survived by nieces, Dolly Young, Jean (John) Klemann, Janice (Rusty) Greene, Vicki Shoffner and husband Steve, Lisa (Tony) Smith and several great nieces and nephews. The family wishes to express a special thank you to the staff of Willow Ridge Center and Suncrest Hospice. Friends may call at their convenience from 2:00 p.m. to 5:00 p.m., Sunday, September 17, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel. Family and friends will meet at 10:45 a.m., Monday, September 18, 2017 at Dyer Cemetery, Luttrell for a graveside service at 11:00 a.m. with Reverend Darrell Williams officiating. The family will be gathering at the home of Dollie Young, 155 Johnson Farm Road, Maynardville, TN 37807.
