Mildred Joplin

Mildred S. (Coppock) Branum Joplin - age 81 of Andersonville passed away Wednesday, April 26, 2017 and Heaven gained another angel. Mildred was a charter member of Walnut Grove Baptist Church. She loved singing gospel music, loved her church, and church family. Mildred was a member of Twi-Lights Gospel Music Trio, she loved every minute of it and received many spiritual rewards. Mildred was a devoted and loving Mother, Mamaw, and Great-Mamaw. She loved having Sunday dinners for everyone to enjoy. Mildred is preceded in death by husband, Bill Joplin; parents, Lasco and Mary Estelle Coppock; great grandson, Seth Jenkins; and sister, Marion Whited. Mildred is survived by daughters, Ann Justice and Twila (Roger) Miller; sons, Steve (Linda) Branum and Eddie (Linda) Branum. Twelve grandchildren, several great grandchildren. Sisters, Sue Davis and Faye Davis. Brother Buddy Coppock. Special friend Kay Breeding and her special pet Little Bit. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Friday April 28, 2017 in the Trinity Funeral Home Chapel, with the funeral service to follow at 8:00 p.m. Reverend Josh Jones, Reverend Mark George, Pastor Stevie Williams, and Reverend Kyle Shell officiating. Eulogy by Buddy Coppock. Family and friends will meet at 9:45 a.m. Saturday, April 29, 2017 at Trinity Funeral Home to proceed in procession to New Loyston Memorial Gardens for an 11:00 a.m. interment.
