Lawson Junior " Red" Robinson, age 82 of McMinnville, Tennessee passed from this life on Saturday, June 15, 2019, at Alvin C. York VA Medical Center in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. "Red" was born Saturday, July 18, 1936 in Louisville, Mississippi, he was the son of the late Chester Robinson and the late Arcola Reed Robinson. He was a Veteran of the Korean War. He was a member Grace Ministries. "Red" is survived by his: wife - Patsy Estepp Robinson daughter - Charlene Whittaker and husband Brent 2 sons - Jeff Robinson and wife Monica Randall Robinson and wife Kim 5 grandchildren - Jonathan Myers and wife Courtney, Brian Myers, Stephen Robinson and wife Heather, Matthew Robinson and wife McKenzie, Kyle Robinson and wife Gabby great granddaughter - Kylee Robinson brother - David Robinson and wife Becky special in-laws - JB and Judy Broadwater and children Joey and Jesse Many neices, nephews, cousins, and friends also survive. In addition to his parents, "Red" was preceded in death by his three brothers Clinton Robinson and wife Drusilla, Bennon Robinson, and Cecil Robinson and wife Kathleen, sister Marie Tarter. A Funeral service will be at 1:00 PM on Tuesday at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home with Paster Joseph Atkins officiating. Interment will be in Gardens of Memory Cemetery, Smartt, TN. The family will receive friends from 4:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Monday, June 17, 2019, and again Tuesday from 10 AM to 1 PM at Gardens of Memory Funeral Home, 415 North Chancery St., McMinnville, Tennessee.
