Cindy Evans Obituary

Cindy Sneyd Evans, age 54, Erwin, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday, October 31, 2018 at the Johnson City Medical Center while she was surrounded by her loving family. She lived most of her life in Unicoi County and was a daughter of the late Vernon and Edith Garland Sneyd. Cindy graduated from Tennessee College of Applied Technology with a Vocational Degree in Business Management. She was employed as a bookkeeper by Amedisys Home Health and Hospice Care for several years. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister, Christine Marie Tipton on April 29, 2013. She leaves behind to cherish her memory, one daughter, Kadiesha Evans, of the home; four brothers: James “Ricky” Sneyd (Sam), Unicoi, Vernon L. Sneyd, Jr. (Barbara), Nevada, David Sneyd (Brenda), Johnson City, Bobby Sneyd (Vivian), Hampton; two sisters: Lauri Vance, Unicoi, Martha Rice (Wayne), Erwin; one special niece and nephew: Jennifer Williams and Allen Vance; several other nieces and nephews also survive. The family will receive friends from 1:00-3:00 P.M. on Saturday, November 3, 2018 in the Unicoi Funeral Home Chapel. Reverend Kim Casey will officiate at the 3:00 P.M. memorial service. Family and friends may bring pictures to the funeral home to display at the visitation and memorial service.
