Mrs. Shirley Ann Edwards, 67, of Union City died 10:15 p.m. Monday, March 11, 2013, at Regency Retirement Village in Jackson.
Funeral services will be conducted 11:00 a.m. Thursday in the chapel of Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home. Brother Jerry Leggett and Brother Noel Edwards will officiate. Burial will follow in Obion County Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends at Edmaiston-Mosley Funeral Home from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. Wednesday.
Pallbearers will be Mike Edwards, Steve Edwards, Eric Wright, Greg Baker, Jonathan Key and Barrett Richerson.
Mrs. Edwards was born June 4, 1945, in Lauderdale County, daughter of Pauline (Smith) Parish of Halls and the late Loyd Parish. She married Thomas Austin "Tommy" Edwards April 29, 1967. He died August 16, 1996. Shirley retired from White Mahon Funeral Home in Troy where she was a licensed funeral director for twenty eight years. She was a member of Second Baptist Church in Union City.
She is also survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Debbie (Edwards) Casey and Ken Casey of Trenton; two sons and one daughter-in-law, Roger and Suzanne Edwards of Charlotte, North Carolina and Chris Edwards of Arlington; her sister and brother-in-law, Velma and W.H. "Sonny" Baker of Halls; six grandchildren, Abby Edwards of Franklinton, North Carolina, Doug Loeffel of Trenton, Aimee Key and Bethany Richerson both of Jackson and Jack Edwards and Sam Edwards both of Charlotte, North Carolina; three great grandchildren, Kenzie Loeffel and Tucker Loeffel both of Trenton and Maryanne Key of Jackson; and several nieces and nephews.
She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Michael Dewayne Parish and Loyd Eugene Parish.
