Callie Faye Hill Castleberry QUITMAN – Funeral services for Callie Faye Hill Castleberry, 85, of Quitman, are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday, September 8, 2019, at Enon Baptist Church, Alba, with Bro. Reggie Day and Bro. Jeff Thompson officiating. Burial will be in Enon Cemetery, Alba, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba. Mrs. Castleberry passed away Saturday, September 7, 2019, in Quitman. She was born February 22, 1934, in Big Sandy, to the late William David and Beulah Steelman Hill. She married Kenneth Leon Castleberry on April 8, 1950. She had lived in the Alba area since 1950. Callie was saved in July of 1946 at New Hope Baptist Church in Big Sandy. She taught Sunday School at Enon Baptist Church for many years to adults and children and was also a member there. She loved cooking for others, fishing, and gardening. Survivors include her sons, Marion Dean Castleberry and wife Terri of Hewitt and Byron Castleberry and wife Cecilia of Quitman; sister, Mavis Stanley of Gilmer; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Kenneth Leon Castleberry; five brothers; and one sister. Pallbearers will be David Castleberry, Mickey Castleberry, Chris Castleberry, John Owen Stanley, Jerry Hill, Jacob Castleberry, and Aaron Corley. Honorary pallbearers are Charles Castleberry, Charles Glenn, Bill Glenn, Joe Glenn, David Hill, and Randy Hill. Memorials can be made to Enon Cemetery, 476 W.
