Janiece W. Bohannan ALBA – Funeral services for Janiece W. Bohannan, of Alba, are scheduled for 10 AM Tuesday, June 25, 2019, at the Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home Chapel, Alba, with Bro. Donnie Herring and Bro. Michael Bohannan officiating, under the direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home, Alba. Burial will be in Salem Cemetery, Alba. She was born August 18, 1938, in Rains County, to VL and Imogene Wright. Mrs. Bohannan passed away Saturday, June 22, 2019, at her home after a long and courageous battle. She lived all her life in Wood County. She graduated from Alba High school and was a member of the Riverside Mission Church. She taught Sunday School for 38 years and was an avid Texas Rangers fan. Survivors include her husband of 52 years, Danny Bohannan; daughters, Jana Boag and Sherri Horne; sons, Jimmy Hollis, Johnny Hollis, Douglas Bohannan, and Vince Bohannan; and 39 grand and great-grandchildren. Janiece was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Carroll Wright; and grandson, Johnny Hollis, Jr. Pallbearers will be Dustin Bohannan, Johnny Ray Wright, Dalton Wright, Dylan Harle, Cole Harle, Mike Horne, and Terry Pickle.
