Richard “Buddy” Hass ALBA – Services for Richard Paul “Buddy” Hass, 62, of Alba, are scheduled for 11:00 a.m. Saturday, June 22, 2013, at Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home chapel, Alba, with Chaplain Robert Stovall officiating. Burial will be in Pilgrim Rest No. 1 Cemetery, Emory, under direction of Wilson-Bartley Funeral Home. Mr. Hass passed away Saturday, June 15, 2013. He was born December 23, 1950, in Grand Saline, to the late Alfred C. and Cliffie Jo Goolsby Hass, and the family moved to Alba in 1959. He was a driller in the petroleum industry, and a Baptist. Survivors include his step mother, Wanda Hass of Alba; sons and spouses, Ricky and Jennifer Hass of Mineola, Mark and Amy Hass of Hawkins, Raymond and Tracey Hass of Weatherford, and Chris and Nicci Hass of Quitman; daughter, Kimberly Hass of Quitman; brother, Tommy Hass of Alba; and 16 grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Alfred Wayne Hass. Pallbearers are Clayton Hass, James Sherwood, Johnny Hill, Les Hefner, Dylan Hass, Jason Hass, Cody Alexander, and Bruce Fountain.
