Amanda Sue Larson Wilson April 6, 1979 to July 4, 2017 Wife, daughter, sister and beloved family member Amanda was granted her angel wings on July 4th, 2017 following a five year battle against cancer. Her final days were spent at home surrounded by family and friends. Amanda's life would seem too short to many, but those who were touched by her understood that the quality of existence far exceeds the quantity of time in which one lives. Although Amanda's suffering was long, she was filled with strength, perseverance and the ability to overcome incredible odds and physical challenges. With her courage, she led us to believe that each day is a blessing and an opportunity to create lasting memories. She was an independent spirit with a style all her own. She worked hard. She worked as a dental assistant/office manager for approximately 17 years. She was bold and beautiful. Her love for her husband Walt and their dog Bogey, family, friends, and really all people, was immeasurable. She had a quiet but strong faith! She had a love for the beach, eating fried shrimp, spending Sundays with family, listening to music of all types, loving and spoiling her nieces and nephews, antique shopping with her mom, aunts, and cousins, beloved memories of her childhood, time spent with her siblings, parents, grandparents and her late Papa and Granny Larson. With Amanda's passing we remind others that her life is one to be celebrated, although we will miss her every day, especially her winning smile and beautiful personality. She will forever remain in our hearts. Throughout her life she taught us so much more than we could have imagined. We were able to create wonderful memories and it has been an honor and a privilege to be her family Funeral Services are scheduled for 10:00 Saturday, July 8, 2017 at the Palms Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor David Cato officiating. Burial will follow in Danbury Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening from 5-7 at Palms Amanda was preceded in death by Grandparents Doris & Andrew Larson, Orville & Rosie Timberlake & Rudolph & Vernon Wilson and Aunt Karen Scott.
