Jerry Noel Unsicker January 4, 1940 ~ July 8, 2017 Jerry Noel Unsicker went to be with the Lord Jesus Christ on July 8, 2017. He was born January 4, 1940 to John and Zell Unsicker of Walters, OK. Jerry is survived by Carol, his devoted wife of 49 ½ years who faithfully cared for him, most especially in his last years; his daughter, Carol of Houston; his daughter, Ann Marie of California; his son-in-law, Tom; and his grandchildren: Tommy, Bobby, and Lily. Jerry is also survived by his sister and brother-in-law Martha and Joe Kersey and all their family. Some of Jerry’s good friends include Kenneth Finch, Charlie Reioux, and Tom Peltier; and the late Bill Sylvester and George Bumpers. Jerry was a good standing member of the International Union for almost 55 years. In 1962, he became a member of the Plumbers-Pipefitters Local 362, Oklahoma. He was also a member of the Pipefitters Local 211 and the Plumbers Local 68, Texas. Jerry was also a Volunteer Firefighter with the Danbury Volunteer Fire Department for about ten years. Jerry was a Master Plumber and fulfilled his lifelong dream of having his own plumbing business. He was a very diligent man. Jerry desired to serve the Lord Jesus in being honest and righteous in everything he did. A special thanks to Pat and Larry, the Danbury E.M.S., and the Danbury Police Department for all their kindhearted assistance. On Wednesday, July 12 from 5pm to 7pm is the visitation at St. Anthony’s in Danbury. The Rosary will follow. On Thursday, July 13 the Funeral Mass begins at 10am in Danbury. All arrangements handled by the caring staff at Palms Funeral Home.
