Huyen (Winni) Thanh Nguyen (March 12, 1990 – April 22, 2017) Services: Private family visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Friday and a public visitation from 7-8 p.m. on Friday, April 28th at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway in Arlington. There will also be a public visitation from 9-10 a.m. Saturday prior to the service. Funeral: 10 a.m. on Saturday, April 29th in the Chapel of Wade Family Funeral Home. Winni Nguyen, 27, was born in Dallas on March 12, 1990. Winni is survived by her parents Thai and Phuong Nguyen, her sister Hang and brother Thang. She also leaves her Maternal family: Grandparents - Hau Nguyen and Hoa Tran. Aunt Anh Nguyen and cousins Kayla and Adam. Aunt and Uncle Eric and Yen Miller, and cousins Zoe and Benjamin. Aunt and Uncle Shane and Rose Potter, and cousins Cora and Eli. She also leaves her Paternal family: Aunt and Uncle Hai and Hien Nguyen, and cousins My-Linh, and Phuc. Aunt Ha Nguyen, cousins Nghiem, Christopher, and Bianca. Aunt and Uncle Hung and Thanh Nguyen, cousins Dat, Yen, and Khiem. Aunt Thao Nguyen, cousin Jennifer, and Brandon. Aunt Thinh Nguyen, cousins Thuy-Vi and Johnny. Winni’s vivid life was ended too short to many, but those that were touched by her understood that the quality of her existence far exceeded the quantity of time in which she lived. She was loved and adored by all of her family and friends, but most importantly her siblings and cousins. Those who knew Winni knew she was passionate about many causes. She also had an intense sense of advocacy for those that could not speak for themselves. Among that, she personified living life without social norms and confined boundaries.
