Paulvin Eduave Valendez, 57, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2017 in Irving. Funeral: 2:00 p.m. Saturday, July 15, 2017 at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Visitation: 6-8 p.m. Friday, July 14, at the funeral home. Paulvin was born in Bagontaas, Bukidnon in the Philippines on January 15, 1960. He migrated to the United States with some of his family in 1980. After moving to the Keene area in North Texas, he started his first job at Brandom Kitchen Cabinets Co. and went on to work in the construction industry for the majority of his career. His passions were his family, friends, karaoke, shopping, and especially loved to spend time with his first grandchild, Elliot. An avid fan of sports, he followed local teams with earnest. Although he loved the United States, his heart yearned to return to the Philippines, where he will be laid to rest. He is preceded in death by his parents, Antipas and Lourdes Valendez; and a brother, Alve Valendez. Survivors: He is survived by his wife, Jennifer and his daughter, Hazel, son-in-law Martin; his grandson, Elliot; two brothers, Robert and Mince Valendez and six sisters, Esther Gibbons, Zelpha Postrero, Ellen Lontoc, Delia Lamanero, Josie Sapian and Sonia Gonzales.
