Willis Lee Knight, 73, passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2017 in Arlington. Funeral: 11:00 a.m. Saturday, July 15, at Wade Family Funeral Home, 4140 W. Pioneer Parkway, Arlington. Interment: Bluebonnet Hills Memorial Park, Colleyville. Visitation: 10-11 a.m. prior to the service. Willis was born on August 1, 1943 in Snyder to Willis Willford Knight and Ruby Arlene Dunnam Knight. He worked as a photo journalist for 33 years for the Fort Worth Star-Telegram. He covered everything but enjoyed sporting events. Willis never met a stranger and was never at a lack for words. He enjoyed woodworking, gem and mineral collecting and fishing in Port Aransas. Survivors: Wife of 50 years, Judy Allen; sons, Eric Russell Knight and wife, Sandy, and Kevin Allen Knight; brother, Donald Ray Knight and wife, Paula; grandson, Ryan Michael Knight; and a host of family and friends.
