Service for Almeda Marie Rives Johnson, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 AM Friday, December 11, 2015 in Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Kevin Bentley and Mr. Greg Robinson will officiate. Burial will be in White Church Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Kevin Kennemer, Aaron Johnson, Tyler Griffith, Jason Allen, Brandon Bark and Carl Rhone. Visitation will be Thursday from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.

Almeda Marie Rives Johnson passed away Tuesday, December 8, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born February 5, 1931 in Nemo to Lewis and Letha (Horton) Rives. She married O’Neal Johnson on June 5, 1948 in Cleburne.

Mrs. Johnson was a loving wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother and great-great grandmother. She was a homemaker and a member of Bono Baptist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 67 years, O’Neal Johnson of Cleburne; son Mike (Jan) Johnson of Burleson; daughter Cynthia (George) Cox of Cleburne; grandchildren Angie Kuhlman, Kristi Rhone, Kathy Whitehead, Judy Cox, Kevin Kennemer, Aaron Johnson, Ashley Swinney, Aerial Johnson, Brandon Cox and Chase Cox; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; brother Lewis Rives, Jr.; numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents; one brother and one sister.
