Ann Husted

Service for Ann Reed Husted, 73, of Grand Prairie, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Monday, June 16, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor David Reed, Pastor Matt Thompson, and Pastor Dennis Bruns will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1-2:00 P.M., Monday, prior to service. Ann Reed Husted passed away Friday, June 13, 2014 in Mansfield. She was born August 6, 1940 in Dallas to Roy and Marjorie Cook. She married Charles D. Reed on August 4, 1960 in Dallas and he preceded her in death on June 11, 1993. Mrs. Husted was an elementary school teacher. She loved children and teaching and was an excellent cook. She was a member of Shepherd of Love Church in Grand Prairie. Ann’s strong will and independent spirit will be missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her sons, Steven Wayne Reed and wife Faith and Roy David Reed and wife Sally; grandchildren, Jason, Tradonna, Karla, Steve, Chuckie, Tiffany, Lacey and Miranda; 11 great grandchildren; and a host of other relatives and friends.
