Service for Anna Belle Howell, 83, of Rio Vista will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Wednesday, October 29, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Charles E. Payne will officiate. Burial will be in Greenacres Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Anna Belle Howell passed away Saturday, October 25, 2014 in Burleson. She was born June 26, 1931 in Cleburne to Oscar and Dovie Pettigrew Hicks. She married Roy Robert Howell on April 20, 1951 in Weatherford, Texas and he preceded her in death on January 22, 2011. Mrs. Howell was a homemaker and was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her children, Gary Howell and wife Jan, Brenda Jones and husband Steve, and Kellie Delap and husband Kent; eight grandchildren; 13 great grandchildren; brothers, Bud Hicks and wife Susie and Marshall Hicks Sr. and wife Barbara; sisters, Pauline Dykes, Estelle Doty, and Jean Find; sister-in-law, Helen Fulfer; brother-in-law, Wayne Howell and wife Evalyne; numerous nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents and sisters, Billie Yowell, Ada Miller, and Shirley Patterson. She is our mother, our mother-in-law, our grandma, our sister, our sister-in-law, our aunt and our best friend. She is a woman that will be truly missed but never forgotten. We love you.
