Graveside service with military honors for Arthur Dee Kennerson, 84, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, October 15, 2013 in the DFW National Cemetery in Dallas. The Reverend Donald Earl will officiate. A wake will be held from 2:00 P.M.-4:00 P.M., Saturday, in the funeral home chapel. Arthur Dee Kennerson entered into eternal rest on Sunday, Oct. 6, 2013 in Cleburne. He was born Dec. 20, 1929 in Concho County to Dee and Lucille McDonald Kennerson. He married the love of his life, Loreace Norton on Oct. 3, 1959 in Cleburne and she preceded him in death on April 22, 1992. Mr. Kennerson served in the United States Army from 1948-1971. He was a sergeant first class retiring with 23 years of service. After his retirement he worked as a tool distributor for the Santa Fe Railroad for 20 years. He leaves to cherish his memory, two daughters, Patricia Brown and husband Ken of Cleburne and Janice Conerway of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister, Louise Cromo of Somerville; seven grandchildren, 11 great grandchildren, one great-great grandchild; five nephews and four nieces of Somerville; and special friends, Tim Bailey and Tommy Ray Earl, both of Cleburne. He was also preceded in death by his parents; son, Lee Mitchell; sister, Charlie Mae Kennerson; brother, Leroy Kennerson; daughter, Sandra Kennerson; and nieces, Elizabeth Ellis and Celestine Jacobs.
