Barbara J. Clements Brittain, 77, of Cleburne, passed away Thursday, December 12, 2019 in Cleburne. She was born March 15, 1942 in Cleburne to Abe Lincoln and Edna Kathryn (Putnam) Clements. Barbara married Joe Carl Brittain on July 23, 1988 in Cleburne. She was a paralegal with 40 years of service in the law firms of Johnson County. Barbara is survived by her husband, Joe Brittain of Cleburne; mother, Kathryn Clements of Cleburne; children, Rene Jackson and Jerry of Dripping Springs, Rashel Stevens of Burleson, DeAnn Ash and Dale of Bowie; step-daughter, Paula Taylor and Brian of Burleson; step-son, Carl Brittain of Joshua; grandchildren, Austin Ash, Geoffrey Jackson, Abby Adams, Garren Stevens, Caleb Stevens, Emily Plumlee, Anna Herod; great grandchildren, Hudson Adams, Blair Plumlee and numerous cousins and one aunt. Barbara is preceded in death by her father, Abe Clements.
