Service for Barbara Nell Prater Sandlin, 81, Glen Rose, will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Thursday November 16, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Bruce Sereika will officiate. Burial will be in Georges Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home. Barbara Nell Prater Sandlin passed away Monday, November 13, 2017 in Fort Worth. She was born August 23, 1936 in Cleburne to Grady and Letha Kenneth (Stafford) Prater. She married Dwight Sandlin on September 1, 1961. He preceded her in death on November 12, 2002. Barbara is survived by her son Doug Sandlin and wife Lanora; son in law Joe Ridings; grandchildren Jodie and husband Zane and their son, Mary and husband Willie and their two sons, Taryn and husband Brandon and 3 sons, Heather and husband Jesse and 3 daughters and one son, Shannon and her 4 daughters, Courtney and her two daughters and son, Joey and wife Alysa and their son and daughter, Brittany and husband Kidd and their two sons, Taytum and son, and Katelynn as well as many other loved ones. She was preceded in death by her husband Dwight; daughter Cherilyn and beloved brother Buddy.
