Graveside service for Bessie Ruth Bowers, 86, of Cleburne will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Thursday, Sept. 20, 2012 in the Baker-Lain Cemetery. Pastor Steve Durbin will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M. Wednesday, at the funeral home. Mrs. Bowers passed away Monday, Sept. 17, 2012 in Cleburne. She was born Nov. 14, 1925 in Coke County to John and Bonnie Runnels McDonald. Mrs. Bowers was a retired supervisor with Walls Industries, Inc. and a life-long Johnson County resident. Survivors include her sons, Glenn Paul Baker and Waymon L. Baker and wife, Marilyn; daughter, Johnnie R. Baker; step-son, Mitchell Bowers and wife, Cynthia; nine grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; six great-great grandchildren; several other relatives and many friends. She was preceded in death by her husband Ralph Bowers; stepsons, Gregg Bowers and Matt Bowers; and one great grandson, Ryan Rowlette.
