Service for Betty Joyce Forrest, 81, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Wednesday, Dec. 6, 2017 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend John Glover will officiate. Burial will be in Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Tuesday, at the funeral home. Betty Joyce Forrest passed away Saturday, Dec. 2, 2017 in Ft. Worth. She was born April 11, 1936 in Cleburne to Winston and Leona Borden Forrest. Miss Forrest was a school teacher, retiring with more than 30 years of dedicated service. She was also a secretary at church for 10 years after teaching. Betty was active in the Fathers House in Decatur. Survivors include her sisters-in-law, Donna Forrest of Ft. Worth and Jill Forrest of Dallas; nieces, Laura Forrest Gassaway and Paige Ann Forrest; nephews, Lloyd Douglas Forrest, Jeffery Winston Forrest, and Todd Gage Forrest; three great nieces; seven great nephews; one great-great niece; and many other cousins and extended family. She was preceded in death by her parents, Winston and Leona Forrest and her brothers, Larry Forrest and Gage Forrest. In lieu of flowers please make donations to a church or charity of your choice.
