Service for Betty Harper, 76, of Grandview will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Friday, February 13, 2015 in the First Baptist Church of Grandview. Dr. Terry Williams will officiate, assisted by the Reverend Charles E. Payne and the Reverend Corey Cornutt. Burial will be in Sand Flat Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Brandt Self, Tray Cagle, Chance Lee, Justin Conner, Zach Spohn and Tem McCollum. Honorary pallbearers will be David Self, James Moore, Bobby Rogers, Carl Rogers, Harold Don Rogers, Tim Rogers, Danny Rogers, and Donny Rogers. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Betty Harper passed away Monday, February 9, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born July 15, 1938 in Lancaster to Willie Yater and Ruby Mae Harper Rogers. She married Lloyd Harper on March 1, 1956 in Cleburne. Mrs. Harper worked as a secretary for B&B Muffler. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Grandview. Survivors include her husband, Lloyd Harper; son, Mike Harper and wife Karla; daughters, Debbie Cagle and Tem McCollum and LeAnne Self and husband David; brother, Harold Rogers; sister, Vivian Moore; grandchildren, Rendan Spohn, Tray Cagle, Reagan McCauley, Brandt Self, Brittny Lee, Tiffany Conner and RiLeigh Harper; 12 great grandchildren; a number of nieces and nephews, and friends. She was preceded in death by parents; brothers, Elmer Rogers and Will R. Rogers; and sister, Maedell Strength.
