Service for Betty Pierce, 80, of Granbury will be conducted at 1:30 P.M. Sunday, January 22, 2012 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Eddy Carrell will officiate. Pallbearers will be Gary McLain, Carl McLain, Darrell McLain, Gordon Glosup, Eric Glosup and Jarrell McLain. Honorary pallbearer will be Dusty McLain. Burial will be in Derden Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4-6 P.M. Saturday at the funeral home. Mrs. Pierce passed away Thursday, January 19, 2012 in Granbury. She was born April 22, 1931 in Covington to Lewis and Ida Mae Pistokache Summers. Survivors include her son, Steve Pierce of Springtown; one sister, JoAnn McLain-Hicks and husband Art of Covington and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins. She was preceded in death by her parents, Lewis Summers and Ida Mae Huffman and two sisters, Dorothy Pinion and Ruby Lee Glosup.
