Memorial services for Billy Neal Skinner, Sr., 65, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 3:00 P.M. Saturday, August 24, 2019 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Mr. Larry Schraeder will officiate. Billy Skinner passed away August 17, 2019 in Cleburne. He was born Saturday, March 3, 1954 in Wharton County, Texas to Neal and Bobbie Jean (Martindale) Skinner. He married Triva Jean Hays on July 1, 1972 in Joshua. He worked in scrap operations in the steel industry. He worked 42 years at Chaparral Steel/Gerdau. He was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great-grandfather. He loved his family, friends, hunting and fishing. He will be greatly missed. He is survived by his wife, Triva Skinner; sons, B.J. Skinner, Jr. and wife Amy of Cleburne and Deany Skinner, and wife Angie of Cleburne; 7 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren; sisters, Linda Taylor and husband Mike of Cleburne, Jodie Schraeder and husband Larry of Cleburne; numerous friends and family who will miss him greatly. Mr. Skinner was preceded in death by his parents.
