Service for Billy Joe Watson, 67, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Thursday, Oct. 13, 2016 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Pastor Brent Shields will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant View Cemetery in Hill County. Billy Joe Watson passed away Sunday, Oct. 9, 2016 in Cleburne. He was born July 28, 1949 in Cleburne to Phillip James and Willie Belle Flippin Watson. He married Melba Jean Watson on May 26, 2005 in Quitman. Mr. Watson was a maintenance supervisor with Johns Manville, retiring with 40 years of service. He was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include his wife, Jean Watson; son, Phillip Watson and wife Janyce; stepdaughters, Brandi Price and Misti Price; 12 grandchildren; numerous great grandchildren; brother, Fred Watson and wife Valerie; and several nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents; first wife, Paula Watson; son, Cory Watson; and two sisters, Phyllis Nichols and Elaine Rustin.
