Funeral services for Billy Wayne Langston, 50, of Blum, will be conducted at 11:00 A.M. Wednesday, September 14, 2011 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Reverend Eddy Carrell will officiate. Burial will follow in the Blum Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 P.M. at the funeral home on Tuesday. Billy Wayne Langston passed away on Saturday, September 10, 2011 in Blum. He was born to Fred Henry, Sr. and Betty Lou Vankirk Langston on November 7, 1960 in Cleburne. Billy married JoAnn Applegate on August 26, 1981 in Cleburne. He was of the Baptist faith. Billy worked for Cardinal Energy Services. He was preceded in death by his father in law, Curtis Applegate. Billy will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved him. Survivors include his wife, JoAnn Langston; son, Levi Langston and his wife, Ashley; daughter, Laci Allen and her husband, Randy; 4 grandchildren, Alexis Allen, Makenzie Langston, Skylar Allen, and Makenna Langston; parents, Fred and Betty Langston; siblings, Sonny Langston and his wife, Colleen, Freddy Langston and his wife, Cigi, Sherry Williams, and Rose Nunn and her husband, Richard; mother in law, Mary Frances Applegate; brothers and sisters in law, Paula Meyers and her husband, Doug, Weldon Applegate and his wife, Lawana, Wendy Kimbrell and her husband, Darren, and Michael Applegate; numerous nieces, nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.
