Graveside service for Billy L. Mullen, 72, of Crowley will be conducted at 2:00 P.M. Tuesday, Jan. 31, 2012 in Brazos Point Cemetery in Bosque County. Missionary Rory Smithee will officiate. Mr. Mullen passed away Sunday, Jan. 29, 2012 in Ft. Worth. He was born July 26, 1939 in Johnson County to Monroe L. and Estelle Burgess Mullen. He married Ganelle Hardin on June 1, 1958 in Dallas. Mr. Mullen graduated from Cleburne High School in 1957 and went on to received a masters degree in fine arts from T.C.U. He formerly taught at two junior colleges and at T.C.U. He was also very good at building restorations. Survivors include his wife of 53 years, Ganelle Mullen of Crowley; sons, Mark Kyle Mullen of Cleburne and David Keith Mullen and wife Karen of Crowley; several other relatives and many friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, Monroe L. and Estelle B. Mullen and one son, Steven Neal Mullen in 1997.
