Memorial service for Bob Burge, 83, of Cleburne, will be conducted 11:00 A.M., Monday, March 16, 2020 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. Bob Burge passed away Friday, March 13, 2020 in Cleburne. He was born June 12, 1936 in Hollis, Oklahoma to Willie and Mary (Bogue) Burge. Bob married Linda Jean Sconce on November 20, 1971 in Dallas. He was a member of the Church of the Holy Comforter. Bob was the owner of Bob Burge Appliance. Bob is survived by his daughters, Denise Joslyn and husband Rick of Grandview, Cheryl Ann Cumberledge of Ohio; sons, Tommy Dooley of Cleburne, Kyle Burge of Alvarado; daughter-in-law Deanne Dooley of Cleburne; grandchildren, Chelsea George and husband Tyler of Cleburne, Nick Joslyn of Arlington, Cheyenne Joslyn of Grandview, Leah Cumberledge of Ohio; great-grandchildren, Addison George, Carson George and Corbin George all of Cleburne; sisters, Beth Crow and husband Jerry of Oklahoma, Sally Hickerson and Clyde of Oklahoma, Lorane Kendrick of Colorado; brother, David Burge and wife Barbara of Oklahoma. Preceded in death by his wife, Linda Burge; parents; brother Willie Burge, Jr.; sisters, Mary Doughton and Peggy Avermon. The family would like to thank Alpha-Omega Hospice for their care of Bob.
