Service for Bonnie Mackey, 71, of Cleburne will be conducted at 2:00 P.M., Tuesday, February 24, 2015 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Scott Whitson will officiate. Burial will follow in Bono Cemetery. Bonnie Mackey passed away Friday, February 20, 2015 in Keene. She was born December 13, 1943 in Weatherford to Loyse and Mildred Barnwell Heady. She married John Wayne Mackey on March 19, 1965 in Aledo and he preceded her in death on March 18, 2011. Mrs. Mackey worked as a bank teller before retiring and was a member of Sand Flat Baptist Church. She will be missed greatly by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her daughter, Jana Kratz and husband Gene; son, Wesley Mackey and wife Catherine; grandchildren, Will Kratz, Austin Kratz, Justin Kratz, Jaxson Mackey, and Tristen Mackey; great granddaughter, Addyson Kratz; sisters, Janice Yvonne Heady Shields, Doris Heady Turner, Sherry Heady Luckett, and Linda Heady Blackwell; brothers, Ricky Heady and Mike Heady; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was also preceded in death by her parents. The family would like to give a special thanks to Chisholm Trail Estates and Mission Hospice for all their loving care and compassion.
