Graveside services for Brenda Jean Parnell, 76, of Cleburne, will be conducted at 10:00 A.M., Friday, July 24, 2020 in the Cleburne Memorial Cemetery. Reverend Shawna Maxwell will officiate. Visitation will take place following the graveside service. Brenda Parnell passed away Monday, July 20, 2020 in Cleburne. She was born November 27, 1943 in Cleburne to William (Bill) Hoover and Lillian Colleta (Wright) Smith. She married David Parnell on August 20, 1960 in Fort Worth. She was a cosmetologist and had worked in Retail Management with Lintz Department Store. Survivors include her husband of over 59 years, David Parnell of Cleburne; children, Clint Parnell and wife Cindy of Cleburne, and Jenny Pendley of Cleburne; grandchildren, Sarah Hunter and husband Jamie of Burleson, Curry Parnell and wife Khristen of Cleburne, and Bridger Pendley of Cleburne; great-grandchildren, Harper Hunter of Burleson, Langston Hunter of Burleson, and Cutter Parnell of Cleburne; sister, Genesa Myres of Burleson; and a host of nieces, nephews and other family members.
