Service for Brenda Wells, 63, of Cleburne will be conducted at 1:00 P.M., Friday, January 17, 2014 in the Crosier-Pearson Cleburne Chapel. The Reverend Larry York will officiate. Burial will be in Rosehill Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Anthony Tollett, Dakota Wells, Garey Wylie, Jack Merrill, Glenn Bridges and Dale Grover. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Thursday, at the funeral home. Mrs. Wells passed away Tuesday, January 14, 2014 in Cleburne. She was born Nov. 3, 1950 in Cleburne to Raymon and Johnnie Burgess Strange. She married Charles Clement Wells on July 11, 1969 in Cleburne. Mrs. Wells worked as an assistant teacher and full-time teacher with the Head Start program. She served for six years as a volunteer for the Plaza Theatre and was a member of Nolan River Road Baptist Church. Survivors include her husband, Charles Wells of Cleburne; two sons, Christopher Wells and wife, Mary of Cleburne and Tyson Wells of Las Vegas, NM; four grandchildren, Anthony and wife Christina, Dakota, Gwen and Julia; three great grandchildren; and three sisters, Anita Black of Houston, Deanna Grover and husband Dale of Carrollton and Janice Bridges and husband Glenn of Dallas.
