At the age of 100, Mrs. Bula Bell Knipe Click of Godley will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband, Olen J. Click, Sr. Service will be held at First Baptist Church of Godley on Saturday, July 6th at 10:00 am with graveside services at Cresson Cemetery. Brother Kenneth Coleman, retired from First Baptist Church Godley, will be officiating. Visitation is on Friday, July 5th from 6:00 to 8:00 pm at the funeral home. Mrs. Click left this world to meet her maker on June 30, 2013. Mrs. Click leaves behind a rich legacy of giving to her family and community. She was the first one to appear at a tragedy or trauma. Whether she was making hospital or home visits, chopping logs, repairing roofs, cooking and delivering Meals on Wheels to seniors, making her infamous ButterRoll, or sharing the bounty from her garden, Mrs. Click was a well respected and beloved pillar of her community. She was a legacy to her family and friends but never in her own mind. She will be greatly missed by all who love her. Bula was one of nine siblings, born in Murphy Oklahoma on April 12, 1913. She worked hard and enjoyed life. She managed their dairy alongside her husband, rode horses, mended fences, grew the hottest peppers on the face of the earth and cooked some of the best food anyone ever tasted. She is preceded in death by her husband Olen J. Click, Sr., her second son, LaMoin Dale Click, and her daughters-in-law, Karen Barnett and Barbara Neville Click. She is survived by her much loved and loving family: three children, Olen J. Click, Jr. of Granbury, Gail Click Coppenger of Lampasas, Damon S. Click of Cleburne, son-in-law Jim E. Coppenger of Lampasas, daughter-in-law Donna Garner Click of Cleburne; six grandchildren, Barbara G. Click of St. Louis, MO, Joella Click Denton of Cleburne, Troy D. Coppenger of Richmond, VA, Darla Coppenger Ollila of Centennial, CO, Lee E. Click of Cleburne, and Tama Click Ivy of Cleburne; seven great grandchildren; and four great-great grandchildren.
