A graveside service for C. A. Thetford, 79, of Granbury will be conducted at 10:00 A.M. Tuesday, September 13, 2011 in the Greenacres Memorial Park. Brother Glen Fogg will officiate. Visitation will be from 6-8 P.M. Monday at the funeral home. Mr. Thetford passed away Friday, September 9, 2011 in Ft. Worth. He was born March 5, 1932 in Cleburne to J.D. and Mamie Mozelle Johnson Thetford. Mr. Thetford served in the U.S. Marine Corps. He was a retired owner and operator of T&M Construction Co. in Slidell, LA for over 30 years, retiring in 1999. He also served as an Election Judge in Hood County for many years. He loved fishing and watching T.V. and was an avid coin collector. He was a member of First Baptist Church of Thorpe Springs. Survivors include his children, Cindy Munnerlyn, Va Linda Dobbs and her husband, George of California, and Timothy Thetford; grandchildren, Malisa, Mikel, Jason, T.J., Josh, Jennifer, Marah, and Samantha; great grandchildren, Josh, Alissa, Britny, Shelby, Samuel, Makayla, Marissa, Hagen, Noah and Jaden; brother, J.N. Thetford; several nieces and nephews and his beloved dogs, Tiger and Fluffy Sue. He was preceded in death by his parents.
