Service for Clydie Belle Morton, 84, of Joshua will be conducted at 11:00 A.M., Saturday, February 21, 2015 in the Greenacres Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel. Entombment will be in Greenacres Memorial Park Mausoleum. Visitation will be from 6-8:00 P.M., Friday, at the funeral home. Clydie Belle Morton passed away Tuesday, February 17, 2015 in Ft. Worth. She was born September 25, 1930 in Buel, Texas to Bill and Jimmie Ruby Booth Wellmaker. She married Joseph William Morton on June 5, 1948 in Cleburne. Mrs. Morton was a homemaker and worked at the Department of Human Services for 20 years, retiring in 1992. Prior to that, she worked at the County Agents Office for more than 10 years. She was a graduate of CHS and was of the Baptist faith. She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her. Survivors include her husband, Joseph William Morton; children, James Doyle Morton and wife Angela; Clydia Faye Morton, and Vanessa Anne Blakeman and Tim Hall; gandchildren, Shelly, James, Tyler, and Misty; eight great grandchildren; three great-great grandchildren; sister, Margie Nell Maddox; and a host of other relatives and friends. She was preceded in death by her parents, one sister, and two brothers.
